Brent Carter has been a Starting Strength Coach since 2013 and a Seminar Staff Coach since 2014, coaching Starting Strength Seminars across the US. Prior to his involvement with Starting Strength he received his degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences from Texas Tech University with emphasis in biomechanics and exercise physiology. Brent has been coaching clients of all populations and with various goals since 2004. In 2008 Brent moved to NYC to work with a boutique training company specializing in high profile clientele which lead to a career in education developing curriculum for trainers through a state licensed vocational school. After growing a successful Barbell team and group training class (winning three strongest team titles in the USSF) Brent Carter left NY to become the Dallas Fort-Worth Area Developer and lead Starting Strength Coach with plans to open three Starting Strength Gyms in the Metroplex.

Jordan Burnett has been in the Fitness industry since 2017. He developed a roster of clients from varying demographics, using barbell training to get them stronger and move them toward their fitness goals. Jordan was taken on as an apprentice coach under Brent Carter, SSC at Starting Strength Dallas when they opened in July of 2019, and went on to earn the Starting Strength Coach credential in March of 2020.

Jayne Peyton graduated from the Focus Personal Training Institute, a state licensed vocational school, in 2013 with a diploma in Personal Training Theory and Application. Since then she has worked for commercial gyms such as Equinox and Crunch while developing a roster of dedicated clients and pursuing continuing education opportunities. Jayne has been coached by Michael Wolf, SSC at Solace Strong as well as Brent Carter, SSC. Jayne has attended three Starting Strength Seminars as well as Strength Con 2018 and the Starting Strength Coach’s Association Conference as an intern in 2018.
