The Starting Strength Coach Credential is the Most Advanced in the Industry
After retiring from a 20-year career in the Army, Aaron Frederick became a Starting Strength Coach and gym owner because he saw firsthand the improved quality of life for those that pursued strength.
In January 2021, he switched from member to Apprentice Coach at Starting Strength Austin, where he then obtained his Starting Strength Coach credential in 2022.
After coaching in Austin, Aaron became the Interim Head Coach of Starting Strength Tulsa, as he and his wife prepared to bring the first Starting StrengthGym to Omaha, Nebraska.
As a Starting Strength Coach and Precision Nutrition Coach, Aaron brings a diverse skill set to the gym. Aaron looks forward to helping Omaha get strong.
Brittany Frederick, an Army Veteran and Doctor of Occupational Therapy, discovered Starting Strength in 2020 while living in Austin, TX. After having hip surgery at the age of 20 due to a military-related injury and multiple back injuries from years of exercising improperly, Brittany found Starting Strength helped her learn the proper lifting techniques. Through Starting Strength, Brittany hit several lifetime personal records (including a 315lb squat) and started competing in weightlifting.
As a Doctor of Occupational Therapy, she has a passion for helping people achieve independence in their daily life. One of the major contributing factors to achieving this independence is strength. Without strength, completing daily tasks such as getting on and off the toilet or caring for a child becomes very challenging. Starting Strength is how the movements we train not only get us generally stronger but also get us stronger in the tasks and activities that comprise our daily lives. This is what inspired Brittany to begin pursuing her Starting Strength Certification in 2023.
Now, back in her hometown, Brittany and her husband look forward to bringing Starting Strength Gyms to the Omaha area!
