Anthony is a staff coach at Starting Strength Orlando. He is a retired U.S. Army First Sergeant (1SG) with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan as a Combat Engineer. Anthony found that gaining additional strength was incredibly useful during his deployments, enabling him to do his job more effectively. He began his journey by lifting on his own to make himself stronger. Toward the end of his 23 years of service, Anthony started the process of apprenticing at our gym to become a Starting Strength Coach. He has been an exceptional part of the team and earned his SSC certification in 2024.

Austin earned his Starting Strength Coach certification after apprenticing and working as a staff coach at Starting Strength Orlando. Austin spent most of his career as a musician, but always prioritized exercise and fitness after seeing the immense benefits that it had on both his physical and mental health. He was drawn to the Starting Strength modality because of its streamlined, effective approach to building strength in individuals from all walks of life. He has worked with clients ages 15 through 80 and seen how improvements in their strength have positively affected all areas of their lives. Witnessing these transformations is what drives him to be the best coach he can be to successfully help others reach their individual goals.
